There are no pre-requisites to enter this training program. However, METEX Solutions Pty Ltd screens students according to the following criteria:

• Are 18 years of age and over
• Have sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills
• Must have the physical capacity to perform practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.
• Hold HLTAID011 as current

Metex Solutions will provide the following resources:

• Learning & Assessment Resources
• All equipment gas detection resources to support learning and assessment
• Any ongoing support a learner may require to complete the course

If METEX Solutions is required to deliver on your site, organisation will need to provide the following resources:

Suitable confined space equipment including gas detection equipment

•  Access to the sites first aid room facilities & equipment 
• access to site procedures to ensure training aligns with site rules
• Suitable training room and area for practical training and assessment

The course is structured to be delivered in the following way:
